As you know, Microsoft discontinued support for the Windows XP operating system as of April 8, 2014. Microsoft also ended support for Windows Server 2003 on July 14, 2015. Continuing to run these operating systems on your computers or server will have significant ramifications for your practice, as you will be putting your data and protected health information at risk. We strongly encourage you to read the information below.
In order to maintain service to customers that have remained on Windows XP operating systems, we have had to delay improvements to our security standards for electronic claims and billing statement processing. However, in the best interests of the entire customer base, we are increasing that security on December 1, 2015. After December 1, 2015, you will no longer be able to submit electronic claims or billing statements from computers with an XP operating system or Server 2003.
