Component Update 3 provides enhancements and fixes for errors reported in the latest Easy Dental release. In Component Update 3, the North Carolina NCMED3F form has been added, and errors related to printing Route Slips and surface painting in the Chart have been fixed.

The component update must be installed on each workstation.

Beginning January 2009, HIPAA requires dentists to use CDT 2009/2010 codes to represent dental procedures performed after January 1, 2009. Specifically, HIPAA requires all procedures for electronic claim submissions to use the code set that is current for the date of service.

• Copy CDT2009Update.exe to any computer using Easy Dental and double-click the file.

Easy Dental customers not on an active customer service plan can order the CDT 2009/2010 update utility on CD by calling Easy Dental Sales at 1-800-824-6375 or contact the ADA and purchase the CDT 2009/2010 code book and CD and manually enter the changes to the CDT codes.

Component Update 2 provides enhancements and fixes for 2007

• Added new claim forms, edits to existing claim forms and requirement updates for California (Medi-Cal), Indiana, New York.
• Updates to the Prescription forms for New York.
• Fixes for specialty codes and EZCheckOut.

The component update must be installed on each workstation.

Please copy Ezd20072.exe to each computer and double click the file to launch the installation.
