Step 2. Assess Your Technical Readiness:

• The system requirements for Microsoft Vista are considerably more demanding than previous Microsoft operating systems. Graphics cards, memory, processor, and more may need to be upgraded in order to run Vista.
• On top of the Vista requirements, you need to assess all of the other applications (including, but not limited to your practice management software), peripherals and services to ensure that you can successfully operate the computer to your satisfaction.
• Microsoft has provided a tool called the Microsoft Vista Upgrade Advisor to help you determine each computers readiness for Windows Vista.
