Key Enhancements

Chart

In the Chart module, you can change colors on the Graphic Chart as well as in the Progress Notes to make finding procedures faster and easier. The new Auto-State button allows you to post multiple procedures with the same status such as completed, existing, or treatment plan at the same time. Accounts Your preference to display or hide the View Account Details will now be saved each time you click the View Account Details and remembered each time you open the Accounts module.

Reports

The patient walkout statement will now print the Provider NPI for your convenience. Updates have been made to Claim and Rx Forms including: Kentucky Medicaid, Medi-Cal (CAMED), CMS 1450, South Carolina 2006 form, Nevada Medicaid and the new Denti-Cal claim form. An option has been added to the Aging Report that allows you to calculate aged balances as of a specific date. You can view or print a customized Aging Report for past months. An Insurance Claim Not Sent Report has been added so that you can more easily find insurance claims with a 'Not Sent' status, saving time and frustration.

Installation Improvements

A Smart Upgrades feature has been added to allow you to easily deploy Easy Dental upgrades that have been installed on one workstation to all computers on the network.

Auto Dial

This new feature lets you quickly call patients right from your computer. You can also keep track of the conversation by posting an entry in the Contacts module right from the Auto Dial window.

Lab Case Manager

Now, tracking lab cases in Easy Dental 2008 is simple and directly linked to the Schedule module. You can create the patient's case, ship and even track progress. Cases can also be sent electronically.

Henry Schein® GURU™ Limited Edition

Utilizing patented Stop, Draw and Teach technology, Guru Limited Edition, with an introductory library of 20 topics, is included with Easy Dental 2008. A Guru Toolbar button has been added in the Chart to launch Guru.

Documentation—Learn More with New Help Menus and Guides

We ensure you will always have access to the most up-to-date software assistance with new Help Menus, Installation Guide and User's Guide. The User's Guide is provided in electronic format on the software CD and installed on each workstation where Easy Dental 2008 is installed. We also provide documentation updates as they are needed via the Web. You may find a printed version of the User's Guide beneficial to your practice and you can receive one for a nominal fee by calling 1-800-824-6375.

eServices—These features require registration

EasyWeb Setup Wizard and Toolbar allows you to easily setup Easy Dental to integrate with eCentral. When your patients confirm appointments online, the status will now be updated in the Easy Dental schedule using through the EasyWeb Toolbar. If you are a QuickBill user, address corrections from NCOA (National Change of Address) are now integrated with the Patients module.

Easy Link—Requires additional software purchase

The new Easy Link Toolbar allows Easy Dental to integrate with other clinical technologies such as digital x-ray systems, computerized perio probes and more, launching a variety of supported software systems from the Easy Dental Chart.
